Introduction

Les journaux de production peuvent porter différents noms — journaux électroniques, journaux numériques — selon le contexte, mais leur principe reste identique.

Par exemple :

Les utilisateurs peuvent ensuite les remplir pendant les inspections ou une fois celles-ci terminées.

Les listes de contrôle peuvent être utilisées aussi bien sur un ordinateur que sur une tablette ou un téléphone mobile.

Problems with paper-based log sheets

Although keeping paper logs may seem simple, it comes with a number of significant drawbacks:

• the information is practically inaccessible and is typically only consulted when investigating serious incidents;
• very often, the person filling in the log is not the same person who originally holds the information that should be recorded there. For example — a dispatcher has to call around the various sites to collect shift results;
• there are frequent concerns about staff discipline and the quality of how logs are kept.

What information is typically recorded in log sheets

Depending on the type of production and the events that need to be recorded, production log sheets may contain very different kinds of information, such as:

• daily / shift production volume summaries
• maintenance and repair logs
• inspection and walk-around logs
• HSE logs (Occupational Health and Industrial Safety)
• instrument and meter reading logs
• permit-to-work and access authorization logs
• transport logs
• inventory and auxiliary equipment issue logs

How to start working with log sheet system

Initial setup

Create logs by work type (e.g. shop floor or activity), define the structure of each log — what data to record — and assign permissions to staff.

Staff fill in their logs

Authorised employees log in and enter data from workstations or mobile devices — wherever the work happens.

Voice assistant (optional)

Set up a voice assistant to call responsible staff on a schedule and collect the information needed to fill in the log.

Export data

Export your log data whenever you need it — for reporting, analysis, or further processing in other systems.

AI Voice Assistant and Voice Bot

There are two possible scenarios for voice-driven log keeping: voice-based entry using Voice Assistant and voice-based outbound calls using Voice Bot.

Voice-Based Log Entry Using Voice Assistant

When filling in a log (either from a workstation or a mobile device), an employee can select the "Voice Assistant" option and, through a voice dialogue with our AI Voice Assistant, provide all the necessary information. It is then automatically converted into a log record and saved.

Automated Voice Outbound Calls Using Voice Bot

In the alternative scenario, the AI Voice Bot automatically calls responsible employees on their mobile phones and requests a work summary, which is then entered into the log automatically.

This scenario is especially well-suited to production sites where internet access is unavailable or unreliable, but regular mobile coverage is in place.

You can choose from several export options for further processing or analysis of your production log data: JSON, XML, CSV, XLS, PDF, or API access.
